Creative Personal Passions…

Even though I have a very creative job, I find myself constantly pursuing creative interests in my free time.

For several years I founded and ran Teacup Handbags, a small handbag business which included design and manufacturing of woven vinyl handbags and totes. Of course, I put my design, art direction and web design skills to good work too.

Recently, I checked another one of the items off my bucket list — upholstery. 

I launched www.haveaseatupholstery in 2013 which satisfies my obsession with furniture and fabric. I reupholster vintage furniture with modern fabrics including fabrics that I design. It's creative, fun and promotes the “reuse” philosophy.

These personal passions directly inspire my day to day design work.
